Rental Terms and Conditions

    1. Applications must be made at least 48 hours (or 2 working days) prior to your rental booking as it takes 48 hours to process the application.

    2. To confirm your rental booking, a 30% deposit (of your total rental cost) is required. The balance is due before collecting the equipment from us.

    3. A refundable 30% breakage deposit (of your total rental cost) is also required, either before or when collecting the equipment from us. This is refunded once all of the equipment is returned on time and in good order. The deposit will be refunded via the same method it was paid.

      Cash – Immediate cash
      EFT – 2-3 working days
      Credit/debit card – 7-10 working days

    4. All equipment to be returned by 10.30 or 12.00pm depending on the day of pick up. If returned later than the requested time you will be liable to pay for an additional day.

    5. Our weekend rentals are charged at a rate of only 1 day (excludes long period rentals). To qualify for this special rate, collection is to be made on Friday and returned on Monday before 10.30am.

      Additional charges will be incurred for late returns.



    6. Cancellations of bookings must be made at least 24 hours prior to the date of collection. If canceled by 9:30am on the day you are meant to collect, a 30% penalty will be charged. If you cancel after 9:30am on the day you are meant to collect, you will be charged for a full day rental.

    7. In the event of theft, the renter will be liable for 100% of the replacement value of the equipment stolen. 

    8. In the event of damage or breakage, the renter will be liable to pay R3000 excess for the repair cost. The 30% breakage deposit will be used against this, but you will be liable for any balance still outstanding.

    9. We are not liable for any electronic failure of equipment during the rental period.

    10. All equipment must be checked and tested before leaving the shop as we will not be liable for any equipment forgotten by the renter or faulty equipment.

    11. This policy is subject to change without notice, it is the renter's responsibility to keep up to date with changes.
