Product Description :
The DJI Mavic Pro features an obstacle sensing system called FlightAutonomy to keep the drone safe. FlightAutonomy uses up to 7 components including 5 cameras (forward and downward dual vision sensors and the main front camera), up to 20 dual-band satellites for positioning (GPS and GLONASS), 2 ultrasonic rangefinders, redundant sensors, and a group of 24 powerful, processing cores to render an accurate 3D environment (up to 15m) around the Mavic Pro so it can react to its surroundings.
This obstacle avoidance system works both in outdoor and indoor environments and is activated in every Intelligent Flight Mode including all ActiveTrack modes, TapFly and Terrain Follow. It is also available during automatic Return to Home, so that the DJI Mavic can safely get back to you in case of a lost connection or low battery.
The DJI Mavic Pro's ActiveTrack successfully makes autonomous/automatic follow recording a reality. Whether you or your subject are running, cycling, skating, skiing, driving, the Mavic uses an advanced combination of computer vision, object recognition, gesture support and machine learning to track as your subject moves. Circling a moving object and keeping it in frame used to only be achievable by the most seasoned and confident of pilots, now thanks to completely autonomous following and flight speeds of up to 65kmph everyone can do it. The entire time ActiveTrack is running obstacle avoidance is too, so it will decide whether it should continue following, avoid an obstacle or simply stop.
You dont have to manually fly the DJI Mavic with the control sticks, TapFly takes over all of these controls for you leaving you to focus on your shot. Using TapFly mode, all you have to do to is tap on the screen of your smartphone or tablet and the Mavic Pro will fly there. To change the direction of flight, you can simply tap the screen to fly anywhere. Using its Flight Autonomy Obstacle Sensing System, the DJI Mavic can fly places you might not have gone before, to create dynamic and inspiring footage.
The DJI Mavic Pro features a failsafe auto-return home feature and will automatically return to the exact spot it took-of if it detects that the battery is running low, connection to the controller is lost or if the return home button is pressed. The integration of the FlightAutonomy obstacle sensing system will also safely guide the drone past obstacles.
The DJI Mavic Pro can be taken everywhere. It features a compact folded size of H83mm x W83mm x L198mm and weighs only 743g enabling you carry it unobtrusively.
The DJI Mavic Pro can be controlled up to a whopping 7km range. This will let you explore a little bit further and give you greater confidence and security when flying.
A light and small body with a powerful 3,830mAh intelligent flight battery gives the DJI Mavic Pro a long flight time of up to 27 minutes, or a flight distance of up to 13km per battery charge.
The GPS can now get data from up to 20 satellites, this greatly improves geographical accuracy and reduces your chances of losing satellite connection.
Sport mode speeds up the Mavic for swift and responsive control. In Sport mode the Mavic can reach speeds up to 65kmph and the new design reduces the chances of the propellers getting in your picture/video frame.
The DJI Mavic Pro drone features a 12MP camera that can record 4K UHD (3840×2160) video internally at up to 30 frames per second, or 4K DCI (4096×2160) at 24fps. 4K is the latest standard in high definition video and features 4 times more pixels than 1080p Full HD. The videos are stored internally on a microsd card (16GB card included), in either MP4 or MOV (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264) format at a max bitrate of 60Mbps. The camera can also record at a fast frame rate of 96fps in Full HD, or 120fps in HD.
A three-axis stabilising gimbal holds the camera and automatically corrects unwanted flight movement for smooth and professional looking video.
The DJI Mavic Pro's camera features a 12MP sesnor, and can capture images in either DNG raw or JPEG.
Want to take a selfie, just make a frame with your fingers. Want the Mavic to follow you, just raise your arms or wave and the Mavic will follow you. In Gesture mode the DJI Mavic Pro's vision system can recognize gestures so you can operate the drone remote free.
Great looking low light video recording is made possible by a fast F/2.2 lens and sensor light sensitivity of 100-3200 ISO in video recording.
All the camera settings, including ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation, can be set on the DJI Go app.
A 720p resolution Live View can be streamed from the DJI Mavic Pro camera to a compatible smartphone or tablet, and from the device it can even be streamed directly to YouTube using the Go app.
The DJI Mavic Pro's camera features a 28mm (35mm format equivalent) f/2.2 lens. The lens provides a wide field of view with very low distortion, enabling you to capture vast scenery.
The DJI Mavic Pro's camera can capture videos in a flat colour profile for better colour grading in post-processing.
The DJI Go app also features a flight simulator to practice your flying skills.
The ‘Director’ feature automatically edits shots into short videos that can be shared immediately after landing.
